Let’s Communicate Cancer

BOPA are delighted to announce that their cancer training programme for pharmacy staff, Let’s Communicate Cancer, has been detailed in the recently released community Pharmacy Quality Scheme for 22/23.  This means that all patient facing pharmacy staff will access the e-learning via BOPA or the E-learning -for-health websites and complete Module 1 which looks at encouraging pharmacy participation in early diagnosis of cancer.  The target audience is approximately 40,000 staff and it is hoped that subsequent interventions will help early cancer  diagnosis and ultimately save lives.   Information can be found here: PSNC-Briefing-031.22-PQS-Summary-of-the-training-requirements-for-the-PQS-2022-23.pdf
