Advanced SACT Update Study Day for Nurses & AHPs Tuesday 3rd September 2019
This study day aims to further develop knowledge and understanding for nurses and AHPs currently administering SACT and caring for patients completing SACT in a variety of health care settings. It will explore novel SACT and cellular therapy interventions and discuss contemporary issues and challenges regarding supportive care, late effects, and SACT role and service developments.

Multi-professional SACT assessment, authorisation and prescribing training day Wednesday 18th December 2019
The aim of this day is to increase the confidence of health care professionals who are new to assessing patients receiving SACT. The day will increase knowledge of how SACT is funded and data assessed nationally, how to assess patients in clinics, to explore prescribing and clinical documentation to prevent errors, and consider how to keep up with rapid new developments. The day is suitable for new oncology SpRs and non-medical prescribers who are reviewing patients on SACT. The day will be a mixture of lectures and small group workshops based on cases and will include chemotherapy and target therapies.
