Celebrating Success in the BOPA Immunotherapy Group

The BOPA Immunotherapy Cancer Advisory Group, have recently done some research into immune-related cardiac toxicity; both the monitoring for, and management of, these rare but serious adverse effects. Simon Jenkinson, Joanne Parkes, and Dharmisha Chauhan worked together to create a survey which was distributed to BOPA and IOCN members. The results are in, and they have had two abstracts accepted for poster presentation at the ESMO-IO Conference in London in Dec. Submitting research to an international conference is such an achievement in itself, but to have them both accepted is testament to their hard work, so we thought it was worth sharing their success with the wider membership.
