2017 Elections to the BOPA Executive Committee:

BOPA is looking for new committee members who are dedicated to furthering the association’s aims and who are willing, and able, to spend time helping to run the organisation. Those elected will be involved in developing the e-based learning package, taking forward our publications and guidelines, contributing to national objectives, supporting our subcommittees and arranging the highly regarded annual conference.

The executive committee work as a team, supporting each other on behalf of our members.  The committee has a streamlined format to fit in with busy work schedules for its regular meetings, consisting of a 2-hour web conference once every month, with up to a maximum of two face-to-face meetings during the year. Web conferences can be accessed from anywhere that has a phone and a computer. You will be expected to attend a minimum of 50% of committee meeting every year, and everyone gets a chance to lead on something from our work plan.

I am writing to ask all our members if they would consider standing for election to the BOPA committee, or nominating a friend or colleague to do so.

A nomination form for this election can be found in our committee document section.

Completed forms should be returned to Succinct Medical Communications at [email protected] by Friday 1st September 2017.
