The Immunobuddies Patient Podcast

Immunobuddies Leaflet

Professor Ricky Frazer and Professor Anna Olsson-Brown have recently created a series of eight educational videos on immunotherapy as part of their work as ‘The Immunobuddies’. The videos are primarily aimed at patients (and their friends and families) but they are also highly valuable for healthcare professionals wishing to improve their understanding of immunotherapy and immunotoxicity.

We believe these resources may be particularly useful for those working in general practice, emergency medicine, and pharmacy, as they are likely to encounter patients who are receiving immunotherapy or are presenting with an immunotoxicity.

Each video is approximately 15 minutes long and answers a range of frequently asked questions, such as: What is immunotherapy? What are the most common side effects? Can I still drive? Can I still go to work?

These videos provide a valuable and much-needed free educational resource for patients and their families.  We are aiming to help these videos reach as many patients, carers and healthcare professionals as possible.
