SAVE THE DATE: The 28th BOPA Annual Conference

Here is an important date for your diaries:

The 28th British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) Annual Conference, 3-5 October 2025, ICC Belfast

 

The conference will include an exciting variety of expert presentations, core clinical updates, specific research-focused streams and best practice discussions. We are running a tiered system with sessions for everyone; from new to oncology pharmacy professionals to advanced practitioners.  This year’s Awards Dinner on Saturday evening will take place at the Iconic Titanic Museum, featuring a replica of the liner’s Grand Staircase – the perfect backdrop! Further information on this soon. Attendance is included in your 3 day registration fee.

A few key points:

  • The conference welcome on Friday morning will start at 11am with refreshments and exhibition opening from 10am
  • The conference will finish on Sunday at 1.30pm to enable enough time for flights home
  • Members receive discounted registration rates

Travelling to Belfast:

  • Book your flights early and benefit from reduced rates – flights starting from £45 return (see below)
  • The city of Belfast is served by two main airports, Belfast International Airport (BFS) and George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD)
  • The ICC is an 8 minute drive from George Best Belfast City Airport
  • The ICC is a 30 minute drive from Belfast International Airport
  • The ICC is a 90 minute drive from Dublin Airport
  • The venue is just a 2 minute walk from Lanyon Place Train Station

  • London Heathrow                   from £83.00    07:25/08:45 – 15:50/17:10
  • From Manchester                    from £55.00    08:40/09:40 – 15:55/16:55
  • From Glasgow                         from £58.00    07:15/08:00 – 18:05/18:50

Registration

BOPA members receive a reduced conference fee of £300 (including VAT) if booked by Monday 8th September. As usual we have preferential rates at hotels nearby, but there are plenty of other options if you want to independently find accommodation.
