HPCC/ KOL Haematology Research & Strategy Forum

We’re excited to share that BOPA has partnered with Sanius Health to facilitate and elevate this year’s Haematology Patients & Carers Congress (HPCC 2025), Europe’s first gathering of over 1,500+ haematology patients, carers, clinical leaders, NHS policy makers, charities and patient groups.

This year also marks the launch of the KOL Haematology Research, Strategy & Support Forum, an afternoon symposia dedicated to uniting hundreds of clinicians, from consultants to nurses to pharmacists, to accelerate the current landscape and develop new strategies, working relations and effective support systems.

By participating in this Forum, you can expect to hear from co-chairs of our Clinical Advisory Board, Professor Shirley D’Sa, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust and Professor Claire Harrison, Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and a number of clinical leaders who will deliver keynote presentations and direct an open discourse on key topics including;

●Clinical Leadership Training Sessions with Peter Homa CBE, Former Chair of NHS Health Education England.
●Burnout, Resilience and Workload Management Support with the NHS Clinical Leaders Network.
● Innovation in Haematology: What’s Shaping the Future? A panel discussion with Professor Guy Pratt, Professor Shirley D’Sa, Professor Ashu Wechelekar, Dr Sanne Lugthart and Dr Emma Searle.
● Clinical Trials and Transforming UK Trial Delivery with Professor Charles Craddock.
●Opening Keynote at HPCC from Dr Sue Pavord, President of the British Society of Haematology.
● Innovation in Patient Care, Empowerment and Outcomes and Rare Disease Research.

Both events will take place on Friday 9th May; Registration for HPCC will open at 08:00 at the QEII Centre. The KOL Research, Strategy & Support Forum will open its doors at 11:45 and will take place just over the road at Central Hall, Westminster. It would be our pleasure to welcome you at both of these unmissable events.

As a member of the BOPA Network, your attendance at both of these events is completely complimentary and a 3-course networking lunch will be provided upon your arrival at the KOL Forum.
