Biography (Stefanie Krens) –
Stefanie obtained her Pharmacy degree (MSc) from Utrecht University (the Netherlands) in 2013. She was trained as a hospital pharmacist at the at the Northwest Clinics in Alkmaar and at Amsterdam UMC. Stefanie finished her training in May 2018. Thereafter she worked as a Hospital Pharmacist Fellow specializing in Oncology Patient care and a PhD Candidate at the Radboud University Medical Center. In addition, she was a content developer for cancer-druginteractions.org between 2018-2021.
Her research focusses on strategies to optimize anticancer drug exposure in routine care patients: ranging from formulating dose adjustment in patients with renal or hepatic impairment, therapeutic drug monitoring and approached to mitigate drug-drug interactions. Stefanie currently holds a position as a Hospital Pharmacist and a QP (trainee) at the Clinical Trial Pharmacy Unit of Amsterdam UMC.
