Message from our Independent Sector Rep on the BOPA commitee, Netty Cracknell:

I have been informed of the following: In response to the national health emergency in the UK posed by the spread of Covid – 19, all parts of the UK health system have come together in order to provide a joined up, consistent service to the general public.
The whole of the UK health service including all Independent Providers will be working as one system, in order to ensure capacity and resource to its fullest potential to deal with the national Covid-19 crisis.

I believe this is being done at cost, meaning no profit will be made for doing so.

I am assuming more information will follow but urge all NHS and IS pharmacists who are geographically close to contact each other now. Please use the BOPA forum to find people if needed.
