The Centre for Contextual Behavioural Science World Cancer Day Research Webinar, in partnership with North West Cancer Research

Friday 4th February 2022 marks World Cancer Day, a global initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). To mark this important day, the University of Chester Research Centre for Contextual Behavioural Science will be hosting a free, online research webinar in partnership with North West Cancer Research.

This webinar will take place on the evening before World Cancer Day: Thursday 3rd February.

Following a brief welcome, members of the research team will talk about the following research projects:

-Prof Nick Hulbert-Williams will update on our North West Cancer Research funded trial of the Finding My Way online intervention, which aims to improve wellbeing and quality of life for cancer survivors.
-Dr Monica Leslie will present findings from our recently completed systematic review which aimed to learn how we can improve research into online supportive care interventions for cancer survivors.
-Dr Brooke Swash and Ms Lori Wright will talk about our newest North West Cancer Research funded grant which explores the impact of cancer for those who are caregivers for someone else.

Our research aims to improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer. Please join us to find out more.
