Project exploring staff perceptions around the challenges of implementing NICE Technology Appraisal Guidance (TAGs) in Cancer Services

Dear Colleagues,

The University of Birmingham and University Hospitals Birmingham are jointly conducting a project exploring staff perceptions around the challenges of implementing NICE Technology Appraisal Guidance (TAGs) in Cancer Services.

We are keen to gather insights from all staff working within Cancer Services to better understand any barriers or challenges faced when implementing and delivering NICE TAGs within organisations.

By analysing these responses, we aim to:

  • Raise awareness of the challenges experienced across Cancer Services, and
  • Inform the development of strategies to support a smoother, more efficient implementation process.

The survey should take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete and can be accessed via the link below:

Further details about the project can be found in the  Participant Information Sheet

Please feel free to forward the survey to other colleagues who may also wish to take part.

The survey is open until 15th December 2025

Thank you for your time and valuable contribution to this important work.

Kind regards,

BOPA Research Subcommittee
