Register for the Session HERE: https://www.bopa.org.uk/webinarsignupform/

We would like to invite you to join our  ‘My Research’ sessions. These sessions are delivered by members that have undertaken an audit or evaluation. They will spend time describing their career pathway and discuss the research methods that they used. There will be time for detailed questions following the talk. These sessions will enable members to learn about quantitative and qualitative methods and the learning may guide and help you in your future projects. We also hope that this will be a good opportunity to learn about different career pathways in cancer pharmacy.

The session will be delivered by:

Title – My DPharm Journey

Hannah Miller, Lead Macmillan Pharmacist, The Christie, Macclesfield

Title – Interventions in Early Phase Clinical Trials

Jenna Poon, University College London Hospital

Hannah is the Lead Macmillan Pharmacist for the Christie@Macclesfield, a satellite unit of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, tertiary cancer centre. She has worked within haematology and solid tumour oncology for several years in both adult and paediatric settings across teaching and district general hospitals. She has also worked with several palliative care teams in both primary and secondary care settings. She is an experienced independent prescriber and works across several pharmacist-led clinics. She has undertaken her diploma and MSc in clinical pharmacy and is currently working towards her DPharm professional doctorate at Keele University, researching clinicians’ perspectives on the care of frail patients with multiple myeloma.
