Introduction to Oncology Course is back for 2018

Yesterday we held the first Introduction to Oncology course of 2018 at the Royal Marsden Hospital in central London. It was a great success! The day included discussing pharmaceutical care planning for the cancer patient with Kelly Baillie and delving into the the world of targeted therapies with Emma Foreman; we had a fantastic interactive session from Bruce Burnett on oncological emergencies and great presentations on radiotherapy and administration of SACT from Alex Britton and Claudia Baptista. If you weren’t lucky enough to attend don’t worry…we filmed the whole thing! The E&T team will now be working hard to use the footage to create a digital version of the course that will be hosted on the BOPA website, so even more members can access this fantastic resource.
