Cancer Care Sustainability Network Launch

Are you working towards more sustainable cancer care?

Hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, the Cancer Care Sustainability Network is a free online network bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers, educators and anyone with an interest in the environmental sustainability and climate resilience of cancer care.

Join to stay up to date with resources and best practice guidance, participate in online events, and connect with a supportive community of like-minded colleagues. Whether you are looking to share a sustainability challenge, find inspiration from others’ successes, or simply learn more, the network welcomes all.

About the Network:

The Cancer Care SusNet brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, educators and organisers to share practice, discuss ideas and work collaboratively towards a more sustainable future for cancer patients.

Membership is free, and all those with an interest in the field, including clinicians, students, academics and those working in cancer care more broadly are invited to contribute, share, and stay up to date with the network’s activities. Resources, information, and events are open access.

As a network, we aim to:

  • Share relevant resources, research and best practice guidance

  • Host online events and form a community of practice

  • Build a bank of case studies to inspire sustainability-focused projects across cancer care in the UK and internationally

  • Foster an inclusive, multiprofessional community where members can share challenges and successes

Thank you so much for your support. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to discuss further.

With kind regards,

Olly Coe (CSH Networks Lead) and the Cancer Care SusNet Co-Leads: Sara Lightowlers (Lead), Louise Davey-Hewins, Helen Coleman, Gerry Lowe & Seamus O’Reilly
