🔍 About Each Webinar

Webinar 1: Demystifying Systematic Reviews

This session will introduce the fundamental principles of systematic review methodology. Attendees will gain an understanding of what systematic reviews are, why they are important, and how they differ from other types of literature reviews. The session will also outline the typical steps involved, from defining a research question to synthesising findings. We’ll briefly touch on how scoping reviews compare to systematic reviews, and when they might be the more appropriate choice for exploring broad or emerging areas of research.

Webinar 2: Demystifying Systematic Reviews: How can Covidence support the process

This practical session will walk participants through how Covidence, a user-friendly review platform, supports each step of the systematic review process. From importing references and screening studies to resolving conflicts and organising data, attendees will see how Covidence can streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and save time.

Webinar 3: Demystifying Systematic Reviews: Data Extraction

Focusing on one of the most critical stages of a systematic review, this session will provide an introduction to data extraction. Participants will learn what data extraction involves, how to structure a data extraction form, and strategies for maintaining accuracy and consistency when working with review teams. Covidence’s data extraction features will also be briefly demonstrated.

Whether you’re new to reviews or looking to sharpen your skills, there’s something for everyone.

We look forward to seeing many of you there!
