Published: BOPA Guide to Producing a Position Statement

As an organisation BOPA represents the interests of its members and the wider oncology pharmacy workforce by developing and adopting position statements in response to changes in healthcare policy, or to address areas of unmet need identified by BOPA members.

The BOPA Governance, Advocacy and Publication (GAP) committee, working alongside the BOPA executive committee, is responsible for reviewing and endorsing position statements. To ensure that BOPA best represents the interests of its members, the GAP committee encourages members to produce and submit draft position statements for consideration. To aid this process, the GAP committee has produced the following guidance.
