We would like to invite you to join our  ‘My Research’ sessions. These sessions are delivered by members that have undertaken an audit or evaluation. They will spend time describing their career pathway and discuss the research methods that they used. There will be time for detailed questions following the talk. These sessions will enable members to learn about quantitative and qualitative methods and the learning may guide and help you in your future projects. We also hope that this will be a good opportunity to learn about different career pathways in cancer pharmacy.

The session will be delivered by:  Jennifer Laskey

Jennifer Laskey, Lead Pharmacist of West of Scotland Cancer Network

Jennifer Laskey recently took up post as Lead Pharmacist for the West of Scotland Cancer Network.  Prior to this she was the clinical lead for the Cancer medicines Outcomes Programme (CMOP).  In 2020/2021 she undertook a secondment to NHS Education for Scotland to undertake the Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellowship with a focus on Pharmacogenomics.  Jennifer is also a clinical pharmacist at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and, alongside the Clinical Nurse specialist, set-up and runs a nurse-pharmacist led clinic for renal cancer patients on systemic anti-cancer treatments.  Jennifer is also a member of the Scottish Medicines Consortium.  In March 2022 she was credentialed as a Consultant Pharmacist with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
