Learning Technologies Awards – The Method, Life in a Day

GOLD AWARD – A Life in a Day – The Best use of Mobile Learning – The Method

‘A truly inspirational project which has demonstrated a fundamental understanding of the psychological relationship between a user and their mobile device. This is proof that successful mobile learning can be achieved with little technological innovation but instead focusing on the users and the expected outcomes of the project. The thoughtfulness around not only immersing the user into the perspective of their patient audience but also doing related tasks were inspired. The judges found that it would be all but impossible to deliver the learning experience on anything other than a mobile device, which made this entry stand out as a worthy category winner’

BOPA are currently working on an evaluation of the two Life in a Day experiences we have run so far, in collaboration with UKONs and are hoping to publish this in 2021. Feedback from participants has been excellent and we will aim to offer the Life in a Day experience to more BOPA members next year.
