Invitation to share views on polypharmacy during cancer care – patient and healthcare professional surveys (Macmillan Cancer Support and the Royal College of Pharmacy)

Dear colleagues,

Macmillan Cancer Support and the Royal College of Pharmacy are inviting patients and healthcare professionals to complete a short anonymous survey about experiences of taking and managing medicines during cancer care, particularly where people are taking multiple medicines (polypharmacy).

The surveys will take about 7 minutes to complete, and the findings will help improve support, information and care for people affected by cancer.

Deadline: The surveys are live and scheduled to close at 5pm on 27th May 2026 (subject to extension). We would really appreciate you sharing it as soon as possible to help us achieve the best possible response.

Patient surveyFor adults living in the UK who are affected by cancer and other longterm conditions and are currently prescribed one or more medicines.

Professionals SurveyFor healthcare professionals involved in the care of adults with cancer and long‑term conditions.

Please feel free to share these surveys with eligible patients and colleagues within your networks. I have attached suggested survey blurbs, which you’re welcome to adapt to suit your organisation.

Thank you for your time and support.

Kind regards,
Sheetal Ladva
