Building future partnerships in global cancer: UK and Ireland Global Cancer Network meeting
In 2020 the UK and Ireland Global Cancer Network (UKIGCN) was formed to unite those in the UK interested in Global Oncology and to strengthen collaborative partnerships with stakeholders working across low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Collaborations improve health with core values including a shared vision. These relationships include reciprocal learning amongst other positive experiences, which have been shown to have affirmative ramifications for UK health workers, improving staff morale, leadership skills and resourcefulness. and de facto, the NHS.
The UKIGCN has organized an event on Sunday 12th November from 3-5pm GMT to discuss NHS global engagement at a UK government, organisational and individual level. We have speakers from NHS Global, UKIGCN and NHS partnerships.
Please join us.
