BOPA breakout session at 2024 UK Oncology Forum

The 2024 UK Oncology Forum takes place place on Thursday 13th & Friday 14th June in Brighton.

We are delighted to share that BOPA has a breakout session at the event, titled:

Collaborating to Provide Equity in Care for People with Cancer

BOPA is committed to collaboration with other cancer organisations, as well as strengthening our involvement with patient and public groups. In this session you will hear from the founder of OUTpatients, the UKs leading LGBTIQ+ Cancer Charity, as well an oncology pharmacist who is an expert in the field of geriatric oncology. The stream will also outline some of the inequity in the use of immunotherapy, and how BOPA is addressing this through collaboration with the IOCN.

The BOPA session is on 9am to 11.45 on Friday 14th June in the Edinburgh meeting room
