DESCRIPTION:Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell therapy (CAR-T) is an immunocellular therapy. This novel class of medicines\, often referred to as Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products – ATMPs\, are new and complex biological treatments. ATMPs can potentially transform the lives of patients who have treatment resistant blood cancers. As with most complex therapies\, there can be serious and sometimes life-threatening complications to this novel and advanced technology.
